Maison Madeleny – 130 Years of Galata Heritage
When we set out in 2013, our goal was simple yet ambitious: to let every guest feel, breathe, and live the very essence of Galata on a single street. To achieve that dream, we lovingly restored nearly every 19-century Ottoman house along Şahkulu Street and united them under one roof—creating Istanbul’s first and only hotel built on the idea of distributed hospitality.
